Hi, my name is marta.
I’m a qualified dog trainer, certified by the Dog Training College (DTC) with their Certificate in Dog Training. Helping dogs and their people is my passion, and I’m always learning and developing my skills to offer the best support I can.
I’ve studied a range of modern, kind, science-based training methods, including Behaviour Adjustment Training (BAT) with Grisha Stewart’s Academy. I’m also currently studying at the Canine Behaviour College created by Tom Mitchell and his team at Behavet, working towards becoming a Level 6 Clinical Canine Behaviourist.
I love what I do, and I’m committed to giving you and your dog positive, practical guidance that really works.
In addition to my private work, I also train with Friendly Creatures and Doug’s Dogs Daycare. I’ve completed a year-long mentorship with Lydia Burke, the founder of Friendly Creatures and a highly respected dog trainer and animal behaviourist.
My training philosophy is rooted in force-free, reward-based methods. By focusing exclusively on positive reinforcement, I not only help dogs learn desired behaviours but also strengthen the bond between dogs and their humans.

There are general blueprints for training dogs that are fairly straightforward to follow. However, every dog is an individual—with their own personality, temperament, and learning style. That’s why dog training should be a personal process, tailored to suit the unique needs of each dog and their human.
